The History of the Child Development Center
The CDC has been serving as an outreach to the York and surrounding communities for over 40 years. The CDC is a non-profit organization that offers developmentally appropriate care and education for children ages one year through thirteen years old. We offer a smaller Infant Center building for our children one year through eighteen months of age. The staff and smaller building provide and atmosphere that is more like “home”.
Our Pre-School Building is designed for children eighteen months of age through thirteen years. We offer four toddler classrooms, four preschool classrooms and three school age classrooms. The CDC’s total enrollment averages between 70-100 children.
We offer a developmentally appropriate educational foundation for our children. And a full day summer camp program for school age children.
Our staff are trained in early childhood education and many have been employed by the CDC for over 10 years.
