“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” Psalms 100:1-2
The choir year begins the Sunday after Labor Day and ends the last Sunday in June. If you like to sing, we invite you to come join us, just contact any choir member.
In the summer months, church members are invited to sing a solo or small musical groups provide music leadership for the worship service.
Chancel Choir
Our adult choir, the Chancel Choir, consists of about two dozen singers fairly equally distributed among all sections (soprano, alto, tenor and bass). Musical selections include traditional hymns, music of classical composers and contemporary music, ranging from unison through eight-part harmony singing.
Praise Singers
Once a month, our contemporary choir, the Praise Singers, sings along with keyboard, rhythm and bass guitars and drums. The congregation is invited to sing with them during the worship service.
