BIG BLUE BLOCKS UPDATE
The VITAL Team worked with the CDC in May to host the Family Prom raising money to purchase a set of Big Blue Blocks. Thanks to all who helped with the event and donated to the Big Blue Blocks. Several people have asked about the status of the Blocks and we wanted to give you an update. The Family Prom raised a little over $1,000 and the CDC and the parents $1,600 through donations and additional fundraisers. The Big Blue Blocks have been ordered and we’re anticipating they will be here this fall. When ordering we were informed there would be an eleven week wait for the delivery of the blocks.
Thanks! Deb Klinedinst

CLEAN UP
After moving the coat racks out of the closet and developing the Gathering Place we found several items of clothing that we moved to the coat rack across from the Ladies Bathroom. They have been there since we moved them last November and want to ask that you take a look at these items and claim them if they belong to you. If they are still there at the end of August we will donate and unclaimed items to a charitable organization.

CONTACTING THE PASTOR: Pastor Joel can be reached most mornings in the church office Monday—Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Afternoons and evenings are set aside for visiting those in need, for meetings, and for other pastoral duties. Pastor Joel is also available for Pastoral Counseling by appointment. If you need to reach the pastor outside of office hours, his home phone number is (717) 318-5442, and his cell number is (717) 271-4888 . You can also email him atpastor@yorkfirst.org. By the way, HIPA laws prevent the hospital from contacting the pastor when you are admitted, so you will need to let hospital staff know that you would like the hospital to contact your pastor.
