THE MAY SUGGESTION FROM THE SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT TEAM IS TO USE PRECIOUS MOMENTS TO HELP YOU HAVE A CLOSER RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR LORD, JESUS CHRIST.
Moments ~ I have business friends who work with small business owners with the goal of helping them succeed by offering suggestions and coaching. Recently, they were meeting with a client who was receiving a variety of ideas and solutions from which to choose. He said to them “I don’t know if I have enough wisdom to think through all of this by myself.” And then he said, “Do you mind if I take a minute?”
And after they replied, “Certainly,” he bowed his head and closed his eyes. After a minute or so, he opened his eyes and said, “I’m ready!” You see, he had quietly taken that moment to share with his go-to source for decision making. A wise man.
All of us have moments in our day when we could make contact with our reliable Source of Wisdom and Strength. We wait impatiently for the signal light to change color so that we can step on the gas. We mutter under our breath waiting for the cashier at the market.
Why not take those precious moments and use them? Use them to give thanks to God or to share the burdens of the day. He beckons with open arms.

Afternoons and evenings are set aside for visiting those in need, for meetings, and for other pastoral duties. Pastor Bob is also available for Pastoral Counseling by appointment. If you need to reach the pastor outside of office hours, his cell phone number is (717) 818-0653. You can also email him at Pastor@yorkfirst.org. By the way, HIPA laws prevent the hospital from contacting the pastor when you are admitted, so you will need to let hospital staff know that you would like the hospital to contact your pastor.
