The History of the Child Development Center
The CDC has been serving as an outreach to the York and surrounding communities for over 50 years. The CDC is a non-profit organization that offers developmentally appropriate care and education for children ages 6 weeks through thirteen years old. We offer infant care that we like to pride ourselves on, as we feel that we are able to provide an atmosphere that is more like the care they would get at “home.” Our Pre-School is designed for children two of age through thirteen years. We offer four toddler classrooms, four preschool classrooms, and two school-aged/camp classrooms. The CDC’s total enrollment averages between 100-135 children.
We offer a developmentally appropriate educational foundation for our children. And a full day summer camp program for school age children.
Our staff are trained in early childhood education and many have been employed by the CDC for over 10 years.
