“Prepare the Way”
Order Poinsettias – Sundays, November 18, 25 and December 2 in the Narthex
Place an order in Honor or Memory of a friend or loved one and help decorate the church sanctuary during the Advent Season. Then take them home after the Christmas Eve service and decorate your home or give them as a gift to celebrate the season! 6-inch pots with 4 to 6 Red Blooms $10.00
Decorate the Sanctuary and Narthex – Saturday December 1
There is nothing like helping to decorate the halls to get you into the Christmas Spirit! Join with the decorating team about 9:00 AM to Noon on Saturday to put the finishing touches on the decorations in the sanctuary and narthex.
Dallastown Christmas Concert – Sunday December 2 at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary
Always an excellent program presented by the Dallastown High School String and Vocal Ensembles. This will really get you in the Holiday Spirit! Bring your friends along for an enjoyable evening.
Advent Breakfast – Sunday December 9 during the Sunday School Hour 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall
Bring your appetite! The Fellowship and Recreation Team will be providing the food and drinks. Crafts/games are being planned for the children. There will be a free-will offering basket at the door to help defray the costs.
Choir Cantata – Sunday December 23 during the 10:30 Worship Hour in the Sanctuary
The Chancel Choir, with narration, and accompanied by strings, piano and organ will present the cantata “Sing Joy to All the World!”. The overriding theme of this inspiring Christmas work by Lloyd Larson is Joy. The music incorporates original melodies and familiar carols in a work that ranges from contemplative to celebratory.
Christmas Eve Service – Monday December 24 at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary
Traditional Christmas hymns and carols, scriptures and readings, candle lighting, and special music.
